Calibrated Leak

Calibrated leaks are used to calibrate and adjust workshop, laboratory and production leak detectors. Depending on the model, they are available with a fixed value, given at 20 °C, or an adjustable value, for refrigerant gases, CO2, helium, argon, the nitrogen-hydrogen mixture (H2/N2, Nidron) and SF6. Their permeation membrane technology, designed for industrial use, delivers a stable and continuous leak rate, expressed in g/year or cc/s depending on the model. Available leak rates start at 1 g/yr or 1×10⁻⁵ cc/s (other values on request). They are supplied with a calibration certificate.

Test leak, calibrated leak or EN 14624 calibrated leak?

  • Test leak: checking the operation and detection capability of a leak detector before a job.
  • Calibrated leak: calibration and adjustment of workshop, laboratory or production leak detectors.
  • EN 14624 calibrated leak: certification and calibration of refrigerant gas leak detectors in accordance with the EN 14624 standard.
