Concentration Meters

Concentration meters, or catharometers, measure the concentration of a gas in a binary mixture by thermal conductivity. They are mainly used to monitor helium concentrations during so-called “envelope” (hood) leak tests, and argon concentrations during passivation operations. They are available as portable versions or as 19″ rack units with an ATEX cell for fixed installations.
