MCB 97T3

HELIUM & ARGON CONCENTRATION METER

HELIUM & ARGON CATHAROMETER

The MCB 97T3 is a catharometer-type concentration meter for helium and argon. It measures the concentration of binary or pseudo-binary gas mixtures from 0.1% to 100%.

In the same range:

For portable, one-off helium or argon concentration measurement, the TG DISPLAY is the dedicated catharometer concentration meter, mainly used for enclosure (hood) leak testing.

Usage tips

  • Purging the sampling line: the reading is taken once the line has been fully purged. Any air ingress through a fitting dilutes the sample and distorts the measurement.
  • Sample quality: measurement accuracy depends on the precision of the calibration and of the zero. As the reading of a thermal conductivity cell can vary with the humidity of the mixture and the applied pressure, the sampled gas must be dry, at a stable flow rate and at atmospheric pressure (neither under vacuum nor overpressure).
