Calibrated Leak EN 14624

EN 14624 calibrated leaks are used for the certification and periodic verification of refrigerant gas leak detectors in accordance with the EN 14624 standard. Depending on the model, they are available with a fixed value, given at 20 °C, or an adjustable value, for refrigerant gases such as R134a, R1234yf, R32, R600a and R290, as well as for the nitrogen-hydrogen mixture (H2/N2, Nidron). Their permeation membrane technology, designed for industrial use, delivers a stable and continuous leak rate, expressed in g/year. Depending on the model, the leak rate is available between 3 and 5 g/yr (other values on request). They are supplied with a calibration certificate.

Test leak, calibrated leak or EN 14624 calibrated leak?

  • Test leak: checking the operation and detection capability of a leak detector before a job.
  • Calibrated leak: calibration and adjustment of workshop, laboratory or production leak detectors.
  • EN 14624 calibrated leak: certification and calibration of refrigerant gas leak detectors in accordance with the EN 14624 standard.
