The FTB 92-T test leak is intended for checking the sensitivity of on-site and workshop refrigerant gas leak detectors.

Usage tips

Effect of temperature: the leak rate is given at 20 °C. As the pressure of R1234ze increases with temperature, a leak exposed to a higher temperature has a leak rate above its nominal value.

Probe positioning: the probe is placed facing the leak orifice, without blocking it, sheltered from air currents.

Orifice cleanliness: the orifice must never be touched with the fingers or blocked with a plug. No grease or other substance should be allowed to enter the leak orifice.
